If my sister were a Dragon ...
If my sister was a dragon ... lol, no this is the latest modelling of mine on Dragon's as I said in my last post I love dragon's, this one I am very happy with as this - this is more like what I think a dragon looks like. My sister will be wanting to beat me, lucky for me she's outta state. In particular I think the nostrils and lips turned out really well, and I believe are what give this model its feminine impression.
Strictly speaking and this is just my opinion ... I'm still learning. I think less is more in that its the hollows or negative space that make this work.
Without futher a-do, Introducing "Ang the Black" a young female dragon. She was hatched several thousand years ago on an un-named beach. She enjoy's the depths of the ocean as well as flying high in night's stormy skies. Her scales are lacquer black with hints of palest purple along the edges. Ang actually likes people although most people either run in fear or die of a heart attack when the see her.
She doesn't eat people as according to her, she doesn't eat junk food. Guess thats good for us ...
I hope you've enjoyed this exercise in fiction and clay. I find in order to create realistic (okay, fictional with hints of realism) dragons they must be named, and I need some idea of the type of Dragon I am to craft.
