Dragon Sighting ...

I modelled a dragon today, it's my second attempt - the first while okay ... wasn't what I personally wanted so I mushed (yes thats a technical term) it all up and started again on a different day ... lol.

I have always loved dragons, whether good or bad and would honestly love to sit down and have coffee and talk to one sometime. Assuming of course I wouldn't be the Dragon's tea time snack. Tolkien dragon's in particular with their cat like features are my favourite.

On to the technical aspects, I like how this one turned out, its not perfect and there is room for improvement of course but its sized appropriately and I could see this one as the handle for a pitcher, or stein. Maybe even as one of a set for a low slung wide casserole.

All in all I think he, the feature's aren't right for a girl - he turned out nice, I added some chinese dragon features ala the beard and a horn or two because I like horns ... and ears - real ears, so he can hear when nasty dirty little thieves come to steal his treasure, oh wait that's Lord of the Rings - Bilbo Baggins.

I included a frontal, a close view of the face which doesn't do it justice and a close view of the tail. Also included a left and right view as well just for good measure and so people can get an idea of how large he is ...

So what do you all think? Feel free to comment ...
