Into the Fire
No it's not Dokken, an obscure reference to my youth. Great metal band, well maybe some of my friends wouldn't technically consider them "Metal" anyway ...
So earlier this week I picked up some glaze tests, and they turned out well ... well enough I used the Deep Firebrick on the berry bowl and saucer. Since mi hermano asked for blue, I used Ellen's Blue as a liner for the mugs. You'll also notice the green, fairly appropriate don't you think since it's copper carbonate which adds a cool effect, a faint green tinge which mixes well with the red iron oxide.
The picture up top and left is a picture of glaze tests I ran the week before, would have posted those before except I needed to take better pictures. I think you'll agree they turned out pretty well. From left to right, top to bottom they are;
To the right, are pots awaiting there trip into the fire.
-Peace
